Uber’s New Hub Lets Parents Order Baby Essentials Anytime, Anywhere

Pregnancy

Being a parent is tough. With the never-ending list of tasks they have on their plate, it’s no wonder they’re always worrying about getting it all done. Uber understands that sometimes parents just need a helping hand to tackle daily challenges—and the brand is stepping up to help.

Starting November 1, the Uber Eats app is launching its first ever baby and kids hub. With this new feature, parents and caregivers can use the Uber or Uber Eats app to order all their baby and family essentials in one place. Shop at stores like buybuy BABY, Bed Bath & Beyond, Honest Company, Yumi, Lalo, Little Spoon and more.

To search for items, open the app and tab “Baby” under categories or search using the baby emoji. From November 1 through November 11, customers can enjoy $20 off of orders of $60 or more from Bed Bath & Beyond, buybuy BABY, Honest, Yumi or Little Spoon.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer parents and caregivers an easy and convenient way to find everything they need for their families, and have it delivered to their doorsteps,” Raj Beri, Uber’s vice president and global head of grocery and new verticals, said in a press release. “Every parent knows the stress of urgently needing diapers, pacifiers, thermometers and more—and we know that our new baby and kids hub will help to alleviate some of the stress.”

As part of the new launch, Uber is also partnering with Baby2Baby. The brand will be giving $200,000 in donations, as well as rides to help transport the items to communities in need. Customers will also be able to support Baby2Baby while shopping for their products in the app.
