It’s that time of year again when kids are saying goodbye to summer and getting ready to trek back to the classroom. What better way to do that than with a brand-new backpack for school? Here are our favourite picks.

3. A backpack fit for a princess

5. Flower power backpack
Kids can hold onto summer as little bit longer as they transition to fall with this sweet floral ‘pack from Parkland. Aside from being pretty in pink, it’s sustainable too! Each bag repurposes seven water bottles and features a 100 per cent recycled polyester exterior.

6. A dragon backpack (fire-breathing not included)
This dragon is definitely more cute than fierce, which is probably why we like it so much. It may be sized for a preschooler, but it’s definitely not lacking in space. With tons of pockets and adjustable pouches, there’s room for lots of snacks and school supplies.

7. A jurassic classic backpack
This heavy-duty backpack from MEC is sized for elementary schoolers. In addition to being super roomy, it comes with a built-in name label so you’ll never have to worry about making sure your kid takes home the right bag.

If your kid loves Star Wars, this may just be their dream backpack. With sequins that flip to reveal a different design, your little one can switch up his look to match his mood.
